Small Church Leaders Workshops Thursday-Friday, August 22-23

Small Church Initiatives Team will be in Fair Oaks, Thursday-Friday, August 22-23 to meet with pastors and their wives.

This is an opportunity to meet with other pastors from small churches (churches with 100 or fewer in attendance for more than five years).

The team is not here to sell you materials or talk you into trying another program.

"It is one of the best meetings we've attended to understand how God is choosing to work through our small churches. I recommend this to every pastor and his wife who serves in a small church. Ken and Susan and their team are wonderful encouragers."
--from a local pastor's wife who attended the workshop

The event is free. Register here.

Mission Opportunity in Kenya
You are needed in Kenya to share the Love, Forgiveness and Salvation of Jesus Christ in October.

When I was in Kenya in January this year, as  myself and another church member  was walking down the street going from shop to shop sharing Jesus.   A man in a shop across and down  the street shouted  out to us, he said: “ What are you selling?    I told him I was not selling anything but sharing Jesus as we walked on he said to us: “your sharing Jesus and you’re not going to tell me”, He said, “please come over here and tell me”.  We went to his shop and him and his wife both prayed to receive Christ.

On another day out we visited a lumber yard where the wife was a Christian.  When we shared Jesus with her husband he told us that he had thought about  accepting Jesus sometime this year, and because we came today , he was ready to make a decision for Christ.

Mike one of our American team members  were sharing Jesus with a man named Moses, after sharing the gospel we asked him if he wanted to accept Jesus he answered to my teammate who was his friend, “you know I’m a Muslim”.  This didn’t detour him and we went right back into some more dialogue.  After only another minute or 2 he asked if he was ready to pray and the man said, “yes”  then prayed to receive Jesus.

Could this be you in sharing the Gospel in Kenya?   People need the Lord and If we share Jesus with them, it will change their lives for eternity.

Jesus has called us to go into all the world and share the gospel.  People are dying and going to hell because no one has told them about Jesus.

What are you waiting for?

Will you pray about going with us?

We have been invited by 32 Baptist churches in Kilifi, Kenya.

October 2-15th, 2019

Please let me know if you are available to go with us.
