Thank you for being such an important part of the Instituto Biblico de Expositores Internacional Pastors Conference in Honduras through your prayers and gifts! The theme of the conference this year was Biblical Counseling, and we saw the Lord work in so many exciting ways! Pastors came from as far away as Ecuador and Columbia, and there were well over 150 in attendance. I went with Pastor Cliff McManis and Pastor Bob Douglas of Creekside Bible Church in our association, and Bob’s wife Robin came to teach the wives. The first conference was in the capital city of Tegucigalpa and the second was on the island of Roatan. Both weeks I also had the opportunity to speak to and present the gospel to different National Police units, and we had dozens of officers attend the conference as well. At the conclusion of the conference, pastors came forward to tell us, with tears in their eyes, how much this teaching meant to them.
(If you would like a sample of the teaching, I was invited to Roseville Bible Church Sunday, and preached the first session of the conference, on the importance of Biblical Counseling. The message is at this link, starting at 47:30.)
At the end of the conference, I gave a surprise performance of a song I wrote. It was a great way for me to memorize Scripture in Spanish! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIfDrFZZ3Oo)
Thank you again for your partnership in this. The Lord only knows the impact on lives these conferences will have.
With gratitude and grace,
Pastor Ron Prosise
